Big Top Souvenirs, the Storybook Circus gift shop near Dumbo, is still closed at Magic Kingdom. The gift shop has been closed for a few days now and doesn’t look to be reopening anytime soon.
When asked about the closure, Cast Members said that Dumbo threw quite the party, but they’re left cleaning up! As you might remember, the location was closed in December 2019 due to a rumored fire.
Sources indicate that we’re not dealing with fire this time, but the exact opposite. Some water damage, likely due to a tripped fire suppression sprinkler, is being cleaned up right now and there is no known reopening date. The cleanup could take days or longer from what we understand.
As of publish time, Big Top Souvenirs is still listed on the Walt Disney World Website has having hours for the rest of the week. It is closed.

We were there last Wednesday. CM were drying up water with towels. It looked like a laundry truck had exploded.
We were also there last Wednesday as they were closing. There was water backing out of the floor drains behind the counter! Smelled exactly how you might expect.
Yup was there last Wednesday and we were told that the Circus animals got loose. Just love the way they try to keep on the down low.
