If you’ve been following our aerial photo tours of empty Walt Disney World parks, you might have also read that construction has been halted at Walt Disney World during closures due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Today, the OC Register confirmed with Disney that construction projects at the Disneyland Resort have come to a halt as well.

In line with government and health official guidance, construction has come to a screeching halt at the resort, a Disneyland official confirmed.

As you might know, Avengers Campus is a new Marvel-themed land coming to Disney’s California Adventure with an opening date of July 18th. While Disney confirmed the halt in construction, there was no mention if it would impact the opening of Disney’s newest land or any variety of refurbishment projects such as The Haunted Mansion, Snow White’s Scary Adventures, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, Indiana Jones Adventure, or other projects currently underway at the resort’s two theme parks.

As of publish time, both Disneyland and Walt Disney World have shut down their theme parks through March 31, 2020.
