Walt Disney World Reveals Significantly Shortened Theme Park Operating Hours for Reopening

Following this morning’s announcement that Disney plans on reopening Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Animal Kingdom July 11th, and EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios on July 15th, Disney has updated park hours.

The updated park hours reflect a significantly shortened operating schedule than previously published. Here are the latest park hours updates for each park as of publish time:

Magic Kingdom

  • Removed park hours prior to July 11th
  • Shortened park hours from 10pm close to 7pm close

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

  • Removed park hours prior to July 11th
  • Shortened park hours from 8:30pm close to 6pm close, moved park opening from 9am to 8am

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

  • Removed park hours prior to July 15th
  • Shortened park hours from 9pm close to 8pm close, moved opening from 9am to 10am

EPCOT

  • Removed park hours prior to July 15th
  • Shortened park hours from 9am park opening to 11am park opening

  1. Hello, is there an estimated timeframe as of yet, that the parks are looking to lift this saftey protocol? At least, as far as not wearing face masks is concerned? The que line distancing, and hand washing saftey measures are another beast all together, but I feel are the least worry of a family spending time and money at the Happiest Place on Earth!
