Disney Vacation Club members looking forward to some Moonlight Magic will be disappointed to hear that the rest of the Moonlight Magic events for 2020 have been cancelled. The events, which were set to take place at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on September 15, 22nd, and October 6th were cancelled.
Disney Vacation Club has not only announced the cancellation of those events, but all events “through the end of 2020”, even though there were no other events formally scheduled.
During a Moonlight Magic event, Members can visit a select theme park for an after-hours celebration. While attendees may get a jump start on the fun by mixing in with the regular crowd earlier in the evening, the real magic happens after the park has closed to the public.
It’s then that privileged partiers can:
- Enjoy shorter-than-usual wait times on popular attractions
- Meet some Disney Characters
- Savor complimentary refreshments
- Let loose at high-energy dance parties
