The Annual Passholder phone support line is still slammed today, a day after the August 11th deadline to cancel. As we wrote yesterday, Disney stated that the deadline to cancel Annual Passes was last night at midnight. That said, Disney has removed that wording from the site and the phone support line says that the ability to cancel passes is available for a “limited time”. As of writing, there is a quoted hold time of 2 hours for Annual Passholder support requests.
As to whether Disney will allow the cancelation of Annual Passes today or in the future, here is their official statement:
If you would like to cancel your pass(es), please refer to the email from Disney Destinations on July 14, 2020 and use the personalized link available through August 11, 2020. Or, you may contact V.I.PASSHOLDER Support at (407) 939-7277. If you have further questions, concerns or unique circumstances, now or after August 11, please contact V.I.PASSHOLDER Support for assistance. We appreciate your patience as we answer all inquiries.
