Disney World has recently made an adjustment to the operating hours of all four of their theme parks. The changes introduce 40 more hours of operation than was previously listed. Here are the changes, which affect select dates through October 12th:
Magic Kingdom
- October 2: Park hours extended to 7pm close (previously 6pm)
- October 3: Park hours extended to 7pm close (previously 6pm)
- October 4: Park hours extended to 7pm close (previously 6pm)
- October 9: Park hours extended to 8pm close (previously 6pm)
- October 10: Park hours extended to 8pm close (previously 6pm)
- October 11: Park hours extended to 8pm close (previously 6pm)
- October 12: Park hours extended to 8pm close (previously 6pm)
EPCOT
- October 2: Park hours extended to 9pm close (previously 7pm)
- October 3: Park hours extended to 9pm close (previously 8pm)
- October 4: Park hours extended to 9pm close (previously 7pm)
- October 9: Park hours extended to 9pm close (previously 7pm)
- October 10: Park hours extended to 9pm close (previously 8pm)
- October 11: Park hours extended to 9pm close (previously 7pm)
- October 12: Park hours extended to 9pm close (previously 7pm)
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- October 2: Park hours extended to 8pm close (previously 7pm)
- October 3: Park hours extended to 8pm close (previously 7pm)
- October 4: Park hours extended to 8pm close (previously 7pm)
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- October 2: Park hours extended, 8am to 6pm (previously 9am to 5pm)
- October 3: Park hours extended, 8am to 6pm (previously 9am to 5pm)
- October 4: Park hours extended, 8am to 6pm (previously 9am to 5pm)
- October 9: Park hours extended, 8am to 6pm (previously 9am to 5pm)
- October 10: Park hours extended, 8am to 6pm (previously 9am to 5pm)
- October 11: Park hours extended, 8am to 6pm (previously 9am to 5pm)
- October 12: Park hours extended, 8am to 6pm (previously 9am to 5pm)

I see it’s ONLY the weekends…. I’m there next week (Mon-Friday) and so hopeful the crowds are very low! We want to enjoy our FINAL trip to Orlando!!!
I just got back…crowds are not as low as you might expect. Social Distancing lines are quite intimidating but move pretty quickly. Most wait times drop off significantly toward the end of the day. Have fun!
