Disney continues to push forward with Harmonious construction despite the fact that there are no nighttime spectaculars currently shown at Disney World due to physical distancing restrictions. A couple of weeks ago, we saw fireworks barges return to World Showcase Lagoon as Disney conducted a limited test for some show elements for Harmonious.

Today, when taking a ride on the Disney Skyliner, we noticed that LED screens have been added to the massive barges that will be utilized in the show. Here’s a look at one of the barges that has the LED screens installed, compared with other barges that are awaiting installation.

Here are the other barges without the LED screens installed. In the second photo below, you can see a construction worker in the left barge, showing the scale of the barge.

From inside EPCOT, guests can see the large crane that supports the backstage work on the barges.

As you can see in the photo below, the LED barges will be scattered throughout the lagoon and include lighting elements that are sure to bring World Showcase to life.

Here’s a closer look at the LED screens, of which there will be four scattered around World Showcase Lagoon. You can even see the expanding arm that will shoot lighting into the sky.

Finally, here’s a look at the infrastructure installed in World Showcase Lagoon that will support the four perimeter LED screen barges and the centerpiece barge.
