Disney Adds Ground Markers to Unattended Photo Ops to Remind Guests to Wear Masks for Photos

There are new COVID-19 safety markers at Walt Disney World that remind guests that they must wear a face coverings while taking photos. The markers can be found at EPCOT in front of the various topiary displays around Future World and World Showcase – the vast, vast majority of which are not overlooked by Cast Members who would normally actively enforce the face covering rule.

The move is just the latest in attempted measures to get guests to follow the COVID-19 safety rules they agreed to abide by when visiting Walt Disney World. Of course, in the 10 minutes that we spent taking photos of the markers, we saw at least two families take their masks off while standing on the markers. We have chosen not to publish photos of guests breaking the face covering rule while taking photos. Here’s a look at some of the stickers.
