Disney World Begins Restoring Trash Can Lids to Pre-COVID State in Theme Parks

    While visiting Magic Kingdom this morning, we noticed that Disney World has started to restore trash can lids in their theme parks. Yesterday, we noticed the change at some of the resorts, but crews continue to adjust trash cans around property and the work should be done shortly. This is just the latest rollback of COVID-19 safety protocols around property as more and more Americans get vaccinated. The vast majority of trash cans we encountered at Magic Kingdom had been restored, with only a handful still propped open.
