Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has just announced that he will be suspending all local emergency orders throughout Florida, effective immediately. DeSantis went on to say that he will be signing an executive order to invalidate those local emergency orders by July 1, 2021, but that he will suspend the orders in the meantime.
As we understand it, this means is that local orders such as a face covering mandate in Orange County will be suspended now, and invalidated by July 1st.
Of course, Disney is a private company and free to go above and beyond orders (or lack thereof) set by state or local governments.
