Face Masks No Longer Required in Outdoor Theaters at Walt Disney World

Following a change in policy implemented last night on the Walt Disney World website, two outdoor theaters are no longer requiring guests to wear face masks during shows.

Feathered Friends in Flight in Disney’s Animal Kingdom and the American Gardens Theater at EPCOT will no longer require guests to wear a face mask during the show. Both theaters are considered outdoor theaters, and are exempt from face mask rules.

We went to the first Feathered Friends in Flight show today and while there are still physical distancing protocols in place such as not filling every row and leaving space between parties, guests are not required or asked to wear a face mask in the queue and in the theater.
