Central Florida experienced quite a bit of bad weather last night – from heavy rains to lightning in the area. As a result, Happily Ever After was canceled and many outdoor attractions were closed for the final hour of park operations. While that was certainly a letdown for day guests, there was a Disney After Hours Boo Bash event scheduled to kick off a 9:30pm.

As rain and lightning continued throughout the evening, cavalcades were canceled and some outdoor attractions remained closed for a portion of the event. As guests lined up for refunds, Disney began offering a free one-day ticket to guests who would forego the refund. That said, Disney was offering refunds or exchanges for guests attending the Disney After Hours Boo Bash on August 24.

Guests who are seeking a refund are asked to contact guest services.
