Following 5-Hour Standby Line, Space 220 Restaurant Implements Virtual Queue at EPCOT

It’s a headline that seems more likely for Rise of the Resistance than EPCOT’s newest restaurant, but Space 220 Restaurant has implemented a virtual queue on its second day of standby operations. Yesterday, guests reported waiting up to 5 hours to be seated.

As a reminder, Space 220 Restaurant is operating with standby/virtual queue only through September 26th. Beginning September 27th, the restaurant will operate with reservations only.

Here’s a look at the virtual queue process implemented today.

Guests simply walk up to the restaurant entrance where a Cast Member will make a reservation for you. Earlier in the day, guests were given an option for lunch or dinner meal periods, but as reservations filled up, only dinner reservations are available as of publish time and filling up.
