According to Disney CEO Bob Chapek, guests visiting the Destination D23 event this weekend will get a sneak peek at the “Disney 100 Celebration”.
In 2023, The Walt Disney Company will be celebrating its 100th anniversary, and Disney CEO Bob Chapek has said that the celebration will “set the tone” for the next few years for the company.
Originally, it was planned that the September 2022 D23 Expo would provide guests with a first look at the 100th-anniversary plans, but that sneak peek appears to have been moved up to this weekend.
It’s not immediately clear when attendees will get a sneak peek, but the Saturday morning panel with Disney Parks Chairman Josh D’Amaro should be an event worth circling for Disney fans. D23 will be live streaming select panels, including the D’Amaro panel.
