Height Test Balloons Spotted at Blizzard Beach

It looks like Disney could be planning on some new construction at Blizzard Beach as height test balloons were recently spotted at the park. Thanks to reader Jacob for the tip.

As you can see in the photos below, two height test balloons were spotted within the boundaries of the Blizzard Beach water park recently. The red and blue balloons appeared to be west of Summit Plummet, possibly in the Runoff Rapids area.

Height test balloons are typically used by Disney to determine the sightline impact that new construction would have on surrounding areas. The test could be for anything from a new structure to an entirely new ride.

As of publish time, Disney has not announced any plans for new additions to Blizzard Beach.
