According to the Walt Disney World website, Magic Kingdom has added a second 4:30pm early close to the calendar in early 2022. As you may remember, Magic Kingdom is closing at 4:30pm on January 25, 2022.
Now, Disney has added a second early closing to the calendar. According to Disney, Magic Kingdom will be closing at 4:30pm on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 as well.
The early closures are to celebrate career milestones for Cast Members. Typically, the service awards are only held once per year, but with COVID-19 limiting celebrations for Cast Members who had a career milestone in 2020, there will be two service award nights at Magic Kingdom in 2022.
- January 25, 2022 – Magic Kingdom closes at 4:30pm for 2020 Cast Member Service Awards
- Febraruy 8, 2022 – Magic Kingdom closes at 4:30pm for 2021 Cast Member Service Awards
Disney Enchantment will not be shown to the public on either night due to the early close.
