Guests can now “meet” with Minnie Mouse at Red Carpet Dreams in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The “sighting” follows the rules of other indoor meet and greet-style offerings. Namely, masks stay on, characters stay out of reach behind a rope, and there is no Disney PhotoPass present. The character “sightings” are an intermediate step between the distanced photo ops and a traditional meet and greet.

Disney has said that “the environment is not right just yet for hugs and autographs”, and a hybrid meet and greet at an indoor, themed location was the compromise. Here’s a look at the experience, which has had low wait times during its 10am to 5:30pm operating hours so far.

Mickey’s meet and greet remains empty.

Guests searching for Mickey can find him and Minnie in a cavalcade and occasionally near the front of the park on a balcony near the stroller rental area.
