According to BlogMickey.com sources, a severe service interruption from Amazon Web Services (AWS) is impacting a lot of Disney World tech services. Everything from MagicBands to reservations to Mobile Ordering is down or affected.
Because it is an external problem, there is no current estimated time for a fix.

Surprised that a company as large as Disney is relying upon single cloud vendors vs designing their systems to be cloud vendor agnostic. Sure it’s faster to just use the vendor’s tools directly, but then you’re left wide open to problems like this. It’s as if everyone in Disney IT management structure has forgotten basic IT infrastructure best practices.
