Select Joffrey’s Coffee locations throughout Walt Disney World are temporarily suspending the use of syrups and sauces due to their ability to attract bees. Due to their outdoor nature, Joffrey’s locations have been placed with swarms of bees from time to time, attracted (apparently) by the syrups and sauces.
The bee troubles have gotten so bad that locations have had to even close down completely.
While visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom, we noticed that a sign had been placed near the register to inform guests that mitigation efforts were in place to keep the bees away.
