Tornado Warning Issued for Walt Disney World Area

UPDATE (8:31am): The Tornado Warning has expired and a general weather warning is in effect. Our original story continues below.


Residents around the immediate Walt Disney World area were issued a Tornado Warning alert via mobile devices minutes ago. According to the National Weather Service, a Tornado Warning is in effect for the area until 8:30am and people are advised to seek shelter.

While people in the immediate area around Walt Disney World were issued the warning, the specific track looks like it could stay just north of the Walt Disney World area. Bad weather is expected throughout the morning and early afternoon in Central Florida.
