The saga of the Sunset Club Couture refurbishment has taken a new turn at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The refurbishment, which began back in Summer 2021, appears to either be complete in one section and taking a new thematic direction or accidentally revealed.

As you can see in the photos below, a rather bland look has been revealed for the street-facing section of the facade – a stark departure from the traditional blue that helps the gift shop stick out on Sunset Blvd.

Here’s another look at the recently revealed section of the facade.

We’re not sure if there was a problem with the scrim that caused this section to be revealed prematurely or not, but it looks finished at first glance.

That said, it looks like what we’re actually seeing is the unpainted faux tiles, and that the scrim wasn’t replaced following the latest work.
