As Disney’s Animal Kingdom continues to celebrate Earth Week, a new duo of characters is meeting with guests today. As you may recall, yesterday, Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps from Zootopia were the daily surprise meet and greet. Today, Goofy and Max are the Earth Day specialty character meet & greet in the Tree of Life Garden across from the Creature Comforts (Starbucks) area.
To find the meet and greet area, look for the sign below and then start wandering down the nearest path!
Goofy & Max Earth Day Meet and Greet
Goofy is sporting his specialty bird-watching vest, although he is not wearing his Camp Minnie-Mickey belt like he did last year. Max is simply wearing his standard costume that he meets in daily at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Honestly, a bit of a weak effort from the entertainment team on this one. We even saw a number of guests leaving the lengthy line once it was revealed that Goofy & Max would be today’s surprise meet and greet. We’ve also been told that Jiminy Cricket will not be meeting anywhere today as he typically does for Earth Day.
