Woody, Jessie, and Buzz Lightyear are back in their regular costumes at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The Toy Story 5 looks that debuted in July have ended, which means Woody’s red bandanna poncho, Jessie’s sheriff badge, and Buzz’s star sticker are gone. We caught all three characters in their classic outfits recently, with the original details back in place. Holiday costumes should follow soon!
Toy Story Characters Back in Regular Costumes After Toy Story 5 Looks

Walt Disney World introduced the Toy Story 5 costumes in July, adding a poncho for Woody, a badge for Jessie, and a sticker for Buzz. Disney’s Hollywood Studios has now retired those limited-time looks. The classic outfits are back on all three characters, and we recently stopped by Hollywood Studios to capture the return to normal.
Woody and Jessie Return to Their Classic Costumes
Woody’s poncho is gone, which puts his yellow plaid shirt and cow-print vest back on full display. His red bandana sits around his neck, and the sheriff badge, belt buckle, and holster are all in place. He looked as upbeat as ever in our photos, tipping his hat to guests as he walked.
Jessie’s vest no longer has the sheriff badge, so her yellow collar and cuffs are the colors that pop. Her red hat with white stitching and cow-print chaps complete the look. She waved as she and Woody made their way along the path together.
Buzz Lightyear’s Classic Suit and Meet and Greet Spots
Buzz’s chest panel no longer has the new star sticker. The Space Ranger logo and yellow Lightyear label remain, of course, along with his white, green, and purple suit and the row of blue, green, and red buttons. He greeted guests with a wave as he made his way to his meet-and-greet spot.
When the Toy Story 5 looks debuted, Woody and Jessie met guests together near Toy Story Mania, while Buzz met separately closer to the entrance of Toy Story Land. Those spots remain the same following the costume changes.
Holiday Costumes Are Next for Woody, Jessie, and Buzz
Woody, Jessie, and Buzz all wore festive outfits when we covered the holiday costumes at Hollywood Studios in 2023. Those costumes first debuted in 2018, the first year Toy Story Land had holiday decorations.
Other characters at Hollywood Studios dressed up that year too. Max Goof and Donald Duck met guests at Echo Lake with a light holiday touch. Chip ‘n’ Dale and Daisy appeared near the Chinese Theater in their holiday attire. We expect similar festive looks this season, though we don’t yet know which characters will change or when.
