Woody, Jessie, and Buzz Lightyear are now meeting guests in updated costumes inspired by Toy Story 5. We stopped by Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios recently to check out the new details. A red bandanna poncho now joins Woody’s classic vest and shirt; Jessie wears a new sheriff badge, and Buzz has a new star sticker on his suit. The refreshed looks arrived at Walt Disney World a couple of weeks ago, following an earlier debut at Disneyland Resort.
Toy Story 5 Costumes Bring New Details to Toy Story Land

Woody’s New Poncho
Woody’s updated look centers on a red bandanna-print poncho draped over his shoulders. It sits on top of his familiar yellow plaid shirt and cow-print vest. The poncho moves and flutters as he walks and waves. Woody was having a lot of fun with it as he walked to his meet and greet when we dropped by. His hat, jeans, boots, and holster all remain unchanged from the previous costume.
Jessie’s Sheriff Badge
Jessie’s costume carries a smaller but meaningful change. She now wears a sheriff badge on her vest. It’s a nod to how her look changed when Woody passed the badge to her at the end of Toy Story 4. Her hat, braided hair, cow-print pants, and yellow cuffs are otherwise the same as before.
Buzz Lightyear’s Star Sticker
Buzz’s suit has also picked up a new star sticker on the chest panel. It sits next to his existing “Space Ranger” label and the partially visible “LIGHTYEAR” text. The core suit design remains the same as before, including the purple and green color scheme, buttons, and wing logo.
Where and When to See the New Looks
Meet and greet locations have not changed. Woody and Jessie continue to meet together near Toy Story Mania. Buzz meets separately, closer to the entrance of Toy Story Land. It’s unknown if the costume changes are temporary, or if these will be the new looks for the characters for some time.
