Daybreak Reveals Minor Damage Following Fantasyland Fire at Magic Kingdom

A small fire broke out in the rockwork and faux foliage above the Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid attraction at Magic Kingdom last night. According to eyewitness reports, firework fallout caused the fire due to unfavorable winds. The fire was small and contained to a single area in the facade, but the attraction remained closed for the duration of the evening to allow for analysis. Today, the Little Mermaid attraction is open again, and daybreak has revealed some minor damage to the facade. Here’s a look.
