In order to (hopefully) finally honor long-delayed Cast Member service awards, Magic Kingdom will be closing early on two dates next month. According to the Disney World calendar, Magic Kingdom will be closing at 4:30pm on May 3rd and May 15th.
As you’d expect, there will be no fireworks for guests on those dates as Cast Members take over the park with friends and family to celebrate their milestones with the company.
Dates with earlier than normal closures tend to be better days to visit the theme parks if you don’t need to see nighttime entertainment as visitation is typically lower due to the shortened hours.
The service celebrations were originally scheduled for earlier this year but then delayed due to poor weather on multiple occasions.
