EPCOT Continues to Update & Remove Main Entrance, Monorail Station Signage

Imagine the possibilities…of new signage. As changes continue at EPCOT, there have been some updates and removals to signage around the entrance plaza and monorail station to better align with the vision (and font) of the future of Disney World’s second-oldest theme park.

Recently, Disney updated some of the signage around the monorail station. While the main monorail sign was replaced last summer, some of the exit signage was updated more recently. Here’s a look.

The style matches other signs found around the entrance plaza.

Some old signage remains in place, but will likely be replaced shortly.

Even the a-frame signs are being updated. Some still have the old font and style, however.

Finally, Disney removed the “Welcome to EPCOT” signs this summer as well. They used to be installed above the ticket booths at the front of the park.

Here’s a look back at the signage.
