The Enchanted Tales with Belle immersive experience has returned to Magic Kingdom after nearly 3 years of closure due to COVID-19, initially, and then staffing levels in more recent times. The reopening is part of an effort from Disney Parks Chairman Josh D’Amaro to get more entertainment reopened as the parks try to return to normal. Guests lined up early today during a busy Presidents’ Day weekend to welcome the Enchanted Tales with Belle experience back to Fantasyland, and we were at Magic Kingdom to capture some photos and video of its return!
Enchanted Tales with Belle can be found in Fantasyland, near the Be Our Guest Restaurant. Featuring a more unassuming entrance than Be Our Guest Restaurant, guests enter the Enchanted Tales with Belle experience in Maurice’s Cottage. Both Lightning Lane and a regular standby queue are available for the experience. Check the My Disney Experience app for operating times on the day of your visit. Enchanted Tales with Belle runs continuously throughout the day.
The queue ends inside Maurice’s Cottage. A Cast Member will take a group of guests into Maurice’s workshop where the experience will begin.
A wonderful bit of magic takes place and opens a portal to the Beast’s castle. Guests will walk through a mirror and into a room where Madame Wardrobe will explain what’s going to happen next.
With the help of a Cast Member, Madame Wardrobe assigns roles to guests to play in the retelling of how Belle and Beast fell in love. Guests will volunteer to play roles such as the suits of armor, Chip & Mrs. Potts, Beast, Maurice, and more characters. Guests then walk into the library where the retelling of Belle and Beast’s love story comes alive with the help of the volunteers. Lumiere plays the host in this next part of the experience.
Here’s our video of the full experience!
