Disney World has sent a notice that they will be testing fireworks after Magic Kingdom closes to guests this evening and that the testing could last until 2am. Recently, Magic Kingdom tested Happily Ever After after park close, and the testing tonight is likely a continuation of that. The testing will not be visible to guests inside Magic Kingdom, but should be visible in the surrounding area.
Happily Ever After returns April 3rd to Magic Kingdom following a less than stellar reaction to the Disney Enchantment fireworks show that was meant to be the long-term replacement for Happily Ever After.
