A new audition has been posted that provides some more details for the officially unannounced Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas-inspired show coming to the Hyperion Theater during the Disney Jollywood Nights event.
Disney Live Entertainment is accepting submissions for a new offering celebrating Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas performed select nights November 11 – December 20 at Disney Jollywood Nights. This new show will be performed live at Disney’s Hollywood Studios® at the Walt Disney World® Resort near Orlando, FL.
SYNOPSIS:
Step into the Hyperion Theater, which has been transformed to set the stage for a dark, dreamlike adventure that follows two fans through a reality-bending exploration of their favorite film- Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas. Keep an eye out as you sing along to the iconic songs from the film because, in this nightmare, you never know when Jack Skellington or Oogie Boogie may make an appearance.
SEEKING:
Two male and female presenting comedic actors who move well and can demonstrate exceptional storytelling through expressive physical movement. These characters should be immediately likable and accessible with a comedic sensibility. Though very much adults, they see the world through the lens of a child, finding curiosity and wonder in the most mundane of objects. Clowning or pantomime experience is a plus! Â
