A new webpage for the upcoming Mirabel meet and greet offers some new details on the theming that guests can expect in the former Fairytale Gardens area. Disney has not released any concept art for the transformation from a Brave-themed venue to an Encanto-themed venue, but they have offered multiple descriptions of the space. Here’s the timeline of information, including the most recent description of the meet & greet space:

• March 15, 2023 – “And this fall, Mirabel from Disney Animation’s Academy Award-winning film ‘Encanto’ will greet guests in the Fairytale Garden at Magic Kingdom, which will be transformed with whimsical décor inspired by la Familia Madrigal.”
• August 15, 2023 – “Mirabel, from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Encanto,” will begin meeting friends from all over the world in her magical Casita.”
• August 19, 2023 – “Step into the courtyard outside of Casa Madrigal. Mirabel is eager to make new friends and knows that everyone is important and needed just as they are.”

So there you have it – a few different descriptions, including one that suggests that we will meet Mirabel inside the magical Castia. The webpage description says that we will meet outside of Case Madrigal. In our recent photo update of the work, there were no obvious signs one way or another, but the September 15th deadline is quickly approaching, so we aren’t expecting extensive work to the area.
