The experiment of the MADE customized merchandise kiosks at Animal Kingdom proved to be short-lived. Installed a year ago, the kiosks in the DINOSAUR gift shop and the Riverside Depot were removed sometime in the second half of 2023.

We noticed the removal of the kiosks during a rare (for us) trip through the gift shops recently. We’re told the issue with the MADE customized merchandise kiosks was that the merchandise was made in Windtraders in Pandora – The World of Avatar, which required Cast Members or guests to make the trek over to pick up the merch. A MADE kiosk was reportedly planned for Windtraders, but we never saw one installed.

There are some pre-made options in both locations for guests still looking for something different.
