After nearly three months of construction, a tripping hazard has been remedied in EPCOT’s new World Celebration Gardens. Construction began back in February to shave down some of the themed dirt around the base of themed lighting fixtures in the alcove closest to Connections Cafe & Eatery.
As a reminder, here’s what it used to look like – with dirt built up around the base of the lights.
And here’s a look at the area today, with low construction walls removed. The shaved-down faux dirt has not been repainted to match the surrounding area, but we’ll keep our eyes peeled over the next few months to see if it is addressed.
