With just over three weeks until its June 10th debut, the first theming elements have arrived for the ¡Celebración Encanto! stage show coming to EPCOT. The show will be performed multiple times per day at the CommuniCore Plaza stage. We’ve been keeping an eye on the outdoor entertainment venue, and with lighting and speakers installed, crews can now install the first pieces of theming.
New Theming for ¡Celebración Encanto!
As seen in the concept art below, the location will be lightly themed as planned for the flexible entertainment space. When ¡Celebración Encanto! ends September 6th, and it is expected that Food & Wine Festival-themed entertainment will take over the venue for the fall, but plans have not yet been announced by Disney.
Here’s a look at the venue from our visit to EPCOT today, with flags recently added to the overhead spaces around the stage. The angles below are the reverse of the concept art seen below. We’re essentially standing in the World Celebration Gardens area which is represented by greenery in the concept art above.
And here’s a look at the stage from the “correct” angle relative to the concept art. Of course, the view is a bit worse from this side because we have to take the photos from the Imagination Pavilion, which is considerably further away.
¡Celebración Encanto! Show
Everyone will be talking about Bruno from June 10-Sept. 6 because a new summer sing-along featuring the beloved songs and story of “Encanto” is in development now. This new limited-time show, “¡Celebración Encanto!” runs several times throughout the day and will not only invite you and your family to sing along with some of your favorite songs, but you’ll also spot Mirabel and Bruno on the newly opened CommuniCore Plaza stage.
