The Pumbaa popcorn bucket, which has reliably been available at Disney’s Animal Kingdom this year, has been removed from outdoor vending locations. The removal is likely to make it feel special when it returns June 10th as part of a planned celebration of the 30th Anniversary of Disney’s Lion King. The Pumbaa popcorn bucket initially debuted in April 2023. The Timon sipper was still available recently after the removal of the Pumbaa popcorn bucket.

Lion King 30th Anniversary at Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Get ready to roar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park where the celebration for the 30thanniversary of “The Lion King” animated film will prowl throughout the entire park from June 10 through Sept. 6. To celebrate, there will be a whole new merchandise collection so you can see the iconic Disney’s Animal Kingdom stage show, Festival of The Lion King, in style.
Ready to rustle up some grubs? There will be special menu items to snack on … and this adorable Pumbaa popcorn bucket to add to your pride!
