Good evening from Disney’s BoardWalk where the all-new Cake Bake Shop is now open! Earlier today, the bakery section of the venue opened to guests, and now the restaurant is open to walk-up guests. Reservations will be available at a later date. The Cake Bake Shop had a lengthy construction process after the former ESPN Club was permanently closed and gutted. Of course, the location is an older building, so there were some hurdles there, but The Cake Bake Shop is a complete 180 from the former venue, so creating the space also took time and attention to detail. As we wait to be called back for our dinner review, we wanted to give you a first look photo tour of the space. Here’s a look around!
The Cake Bake Shop Restaurant Photo Tour
As you’ll see, the space is light and airy. In all honestly, it’s a space that understands its theme and executes it well. Here at the check-in area, you can see a lounge space to the right, and a perimeter seating area to the left. More on those in a bit. First, let’s take a step inside the main room!
Stepping off from the main room, we can see some perimeter seating areas that will be open air when the weather cools down and the windows can be opened. One of the rooms that we didn’t get photos of yet was a private dining room just off of the main dining area.
Another area is the bar, which will eventually be open to walk-ups.
The final room is a seating area just off of the bar, which can be used as more of a lounge space.
We’ll close out this article with a look at some of the details from the space. Note that some of the decor elements will change seasonally.
