The holiday season is right around the corner at Walt Disney World, and while the pumpkins will stay in place through the end of October, preparations are underway for the most wonderful time of the year. Many preparations are being put into motion backstage, but there are some in-park hints that the holiday team is kicking into high gear to bring a magical Holiday Season to Walt Disney World this year. While visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios, we noticed that preparations are underway for the Holiday Season now!
Hollywood Studios Prepares for 2024 Holiday Season
So far, we’ve spotted preparations along Sunset Blvd and in the Center Stage area in front of the Chinese Theater. We’ll start with a look at preparations along Sunset Blvd as the area transforms for the Sunset Seasons Greetings projection show on the Tower of Terror.
The holidays kick of November 12th at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and crews have installed snow machines and strung lights in the bushes near the Theater of the Stars. Here’s a look!
Over in the Center Stage area in front of the Chinese Theater, we have noticed some lighting changes over the past few weeks, and now there are snow machines installed at some of the light towers. These light towers will work double duty thanks to an all-new ice skating show in the area exclusive to the upcharge Disney Jollywood Nights event.
Snow machines are also installed on the projection towers in the Center Stage area.
Finally, we noticed some snow machines installed above the main entrance to the park too! We love Disney’s Hollywood Studios during the Holiday Season, and we can’t wait to see Disney continue to embrace the park as a spot to enjoy all things merry and bright. In case you missed it, Walt Disney World announced three new entertainment acts that will bring some holiday cheer to Disney’s Hollywood Studios this Holiday Season.
