As expected, the Hall of Presidents attraction will be closed starting January 20, 2025 for refurbishment. Currently, a reopening date has not been announced, and it is expected that the attraction will be closed for at least a couple of months.
UPDATE: Walt Disney World has issued a statement on its website, stating that The Hall of Presidents will reopen “later in 2025”. Here’s the statement:
“The Hall of Presidents will temporarily close for refurbishment on January 20, 2025, and is expected to reopen later in 2025.”
Hall of Presidents Refurbishment 2025

We’ve previously covered the fact that Walt Disney World would be forced to close the Hall of Presidents, regardless of the outcome, as a result of the candidates. Now that Donald Trump has won the election, Walt Disney World will need to close the attraction to remove President Joe Biden.
There has been speculation that Walt Disney World would want to take this time to introduce The Muppets to the attraction, perhaps replacing the Hall of Presidents completely. With the news that The Muppets will be taking over Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, the format of the Hall of Presidents appears to be safe, with the most likely outcome in 2025 being the reintroduction of Donald Trump to the speaking role, perhaps utilizing a previously recorded spiel.
