Universal Orlando Resort has officially confirmed that the Death Eaters Encounter will return to Halloween Horror Nights 2025, following weeks of construction in Diagon Alley. Death Eaters were introduced to Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights in 2023, and they returned in 2024. Now, an updated blurb on the Halloween Horror Nights 2025 webpage confirms their return this year.
Death Eaters Return to Diagon Alley for Halloween Horror Nights 2025
In The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™, Death Eaters™, a group of Voldemort’s most devoted followers, roam Diagon Alley™, looking to find others willing to show loyalty to the Dark Lord’s cause.
Guests will find Death Eaters roaming the streets and dark corners of Diagon Alley once Halloween Horror Nights 2025 kicks off on August 29th. While not an official “scare zone”, all of Diagon Alley is in play during HHN, with Death Eaters prowling the streets. Guests can also catch show moments from a number of Death Eaters, including at the main stage area and at satellite stages throughout Diagon Alley.
The “show moment” is a brief gathering of Death Eaters as they spot the Dark Mark and head into the streets of Diagon Alley. It is not a proper “show”, but rather a brief moment to snap photos and video before the Death Eaters sweep the streets for victims…or followers.
