What’s old is new again in EPCOT’s France Pavilion. A new entertainment act titled Acrobatico! has debuted in the France Pavilion. Taking place multiple times per day, the entertainment act involves a waiter miming a performance that includes incredible acrobatic ability, balance, and some comedy. We stopped by EPCOT recently to capture some photos and a video of the performance that takes place near the hedge garden maze.

Right now, Acrobatico! is performed multiple times per day, Sunday through Thursday. We’re told that there are no performances on Friday or Saturday. We understand that the new act will be around through the end of the 2025 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival, but Walt Disney World has not returned a request for information about the new act.

The show features a single performer and is roughly 12 minutes long. The waiter sets the scene by setting a table with some audience participation. The performance includes wonderful acts of balance as a stack of chairs grows higher and higher. At its highest, the stack contains all five chairs, with the performer balanced on top. Acrobatico! is reminiscent of the Serveur Amusant act that ended at EPCOT in 2020 and was quietly removed from the Walt Disney World website along with other entertainment in 2022.

And here are some photos of the 12:15pm performance. Acrobatico! is entertaining and draws a crowd despite the midday sun. Anything that increases the presence of live entertainment in the parks is a win, and I hope that it can stick around and grow past the upcoming EPCOT Food & Wine Festival.
