Walt Disney World has announced that it will soon be allowing online reservations for the wonderful Wailulu Bar & Grill at the Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. The indoor/outdoor restaurant opened last December at the Island Tower and quickly became one of our favorite spots to dine – especially during sunset. For the past year, reservations have been walk-up only, but that’s going to change soon! Here’s the latest.
Online Reservations Wailulu Bar & Grill Open Dec. 3
According to Walt Disney World, online reservations for Wailulu Bar & Grill will open on December 3, 2025, with the earliest available reservation date of December 4, 2025. This will allow guests to make reservations ahead of time, creating easier planning for a visit to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.
Wailulu Bar & Grill gets its name from the Hawaiian words wai (meaning “water”) and lulu (meaning “calm”). Fittingly, this charming spot boasts breathtaking views of the Seven Seas Lagoon.
The space is adorned with dazzling Polynesian-inspired artwork—much of which was crafted by recycled materials and reclaimed fishing nets.
