Not-so-good morning from Disney’s Hollywood Studios where the PizzeRizzo sign has been removed as part of a Monsters Inc. reimagining of the Muppets Courtyard area. PizzaRizzo has fallen.
PizzeRizzo Sign Removed
Before we take a look at the area as it stands today, here’s a final look back at the PizzeRizzo sign. The sign has been standing since earlier this Summer when the Muppets Courtyard area was blocked off for construction. As you may remember, the entire area is being rethemed to Monstropolis from Monsters Inc. The reimagined area will include the first-ever suspended roller coaster at a Disney theme park, taking guests through the iconic door vault.
And here’s a look at the building from our visit to Disney’s Hollywood Studios this morning (or mourning), with the PizzeRizzo sign removed from the top of the building.
The Gonzo’s Royal Flush sign has also been removed. Here’s a before/current.
