Walt Disney World has announced an exact closing date for Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster starring Aerosmith. Previously, Disney had announced that Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster would close in Spring 2026, but we now know just how long guests will be able to rock out to the tunes of Aerosmith before a transformation into a Muppets-themed attraction.
Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Closing March 2nd
Walt Disney World has announced that Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster will be closing on March 2nd. The final day to experience the attraction will be March 1, 2026.

Inside their Hollywood music studio, legendary rock band Aerosmith is wrapping up a recording session. When their manager tells them they’re late for a concert across town, the band invites you to ride along.
Hop into their gleaming limousine and speed off into the night as Aerosmith’s hard-rock harmonies fill the air. Buckle up before zooming through the city on this roller-coaster style attraction.

Your super-stretch limo is decked out with a 125-speaker, 24-subwoofer, 32,000-watt audio system.
Each vehicle broadcasts different Aerosmith hit songs, including “Walk This Way,” “Dude (Looks Like a Lady),” “Sweet Emotion” and “Back in the Saddle.” The classic “Love in an Elevator” was rewritten as “Love in a Roller Coaster” specifically for this rock-tastic attraction.

Muppets is a terrible replacement!!! You have a coaster plunging out 0 to 60…3 huge loops, and height requirements of 48 inches!!! All adults and older kids!! No children going on it. Who is going to care about the muppets? Disney has been making a lot of poor choices!!! And this is one of them!!!
