Walt Disney World has announced a room refurbishment for Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort, beginning May 2026. The refurbishment will last around 8 months, indicating a significant refurbishment. Here’s the latest.
Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort Room Refurbishment
Beginning late May 2026, the rooms at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort will undergo planned refurbishment through the end of January 2027. During this time, Guests may see or hear construction work in the area, and alternate paths of travel may be in place.
No additional details have been announced, but we imagine that the update will be similar to the one just completed at Disney’s Pop Century Resort. Pop Century is the most recent Value Resort to have a completed room refurbishment, so it makes a lot of sense to start there.
In terms of what to expect, here’s a before/after of the Pop Century room refurbishment. In general, we would expect some updated “soft goods” for the upcoming All-Star Movies Resort room refurbishment.
We’d expect that the first images of the updated All-Star Movies Resort rooms would be available sometime in June or July as the work occurs in waves.
While the refurbishment at Disney’s All-Star Movies is currently scheduled to end by February 2027, we imagine that other All-Star resort rooms will be next on the schedule, perhaps taking the full room refurbishment into 2028 or 2029 when all is said and done.
