Eligible guests can now meet with Stitch at a hidden meet and greet within Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The meet and greet with Stitch is not advertised within the theme park, and only a select few guests are even eligible to meet with Stitch. Here’s a closer look at what you can expect when you visit.
Hidden Stitch Meet & Greet at Hollywood Studios
Disney Visa Cardmembers can find an exclusive Stitch meet and greet at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Interestingly, the meet and greet is not advertised in the theme park, unlike some Disney Visa Cardmember meet and greets in the past. Well, that’s not 100% accurate.
The meet and greet, which can be found at the Celebrity Spotlight venue, is incorrectly advertised as an Olaf meet and greet. A sign outside the venue says “Disney Visa Cardmember exclusive photo opportunity” with a picture of Olaf. The messaging here is weird and complicated. Here’s a look at the sign, followed by what makes it complicated.
What makes this confusing is that the Celebrity Spotlight venue is actually split into two meet-and-greet areas. In the past, Olaf has been the only character to meet in this space. Currently, Olaf meets on one side of the meet and greet space, with Stitch now taking over the other meet and greet space.
That means that for regular guests, they can only meet Olaf. Because the majority of guests visiting Walt Disney World are not Disney Visa Cardmembers, it seems like Disney has opted to keep Olaf on display at all of the signage.
That said, Disney also has to showcase that there is a Disney Visa Cardmember opportunity. I’m guessing that Disney doesn’t want to mislead regular guests with a split photo of Olaf and Stitch. That would likely lead to a great number of disappointed guests who think that they can meet Stitch here, only to find out that they need to sign up for a Disney Visa card.
So, Disney opts for the confusing messaging instead, making the Stitch meet and greet more of a hidden surprise for guests who qualify. There is a notice on the Disney Rewards website, which we’ve included below.

To enter the Stitch meet and greet, use the right lane at the Celebrity Spotlight entrance shown below. You’ll have to present your Disney Visa debit card or credit card to a Cast Member to enter. From there, you’ll be in a separate line from guests who are there to meet Olaf. Disney Visa Cardmembers only have exclusive access to the Stitch meet and greet – not Olaf.
We rope dropped, and the line was short. The line can start to build throughout the day, but we’ve found that it was generally shorter than the line for Olaf whenever we’ve visited.
Just around the corner, guests will find Stitch in a tropical setting. A couple of surfboards are centered on a flat that includes tropical foliage. Nearby, a record player sits with a “mostly good” visual representation of Stitch’s character.
Stitch is available to meet with eligible guests from 9am to 12pm. On the other hand, Olaf is available to meet with all guests from 9am to 6pm.
