Refreshment Port: New Stonework & Roof Work as Air Canada Sponsorship Takes Shape

During a visit to EPCOT today, we spotted active work taking place at Refreshment Port, where the refurbishment connected to the venue’s upcoming Air Canada sponsorship is well underway. Construction walls remain up around the location, but we can see some of the work taking place above the walls.
The most immediately visible change is to the roof. New work has resulted in a two-tone finish, with a darker charcoal section covering the upper portion of the roof and a warm copper tone across the lower section. It’s likely that work is in progress, and this is not the final look.
But that’s not all. Crews were also actively hand-setting natural stone pieces onto the venue’s columns during our visit. A worker could be seen pressing individual stone pieces into a mortar, with a portion of the column already covered in the new stacked-stone veneer and the remainder still awaiting installation.
As we reported, Air Canada announced its new EPCOT sponsorship in April 2026, with concept art showing theming changes to the venue and a new name: La Poutinerie. The physical work now underway is bringing those changes to life. The refurbishment has been in progress since January 2026, and a reopening date has not yet been announced.
