Grand Floridian Gingerbread House Permanently Retired
Disney announced that the iconic Grand Floridian gingerbread house will not return to the resort. The display has been permanently retired. The life-size structure, built fresh each year in the resort’s Grand Lobby, has anchored the property’s seasonal decor for decades.
In its place, Disney’s culinary teams will create new miniature gingerbread displays for the resort. Disney has not yet described what those displays will look like, but we expect more details closer to the start of the holiday season.
