Yes, construction has started on a new Soarin’ building

While it has been rumored to be under construction for some time, we have photos of the new construction happening behind the current Soarin’ building. A new Soarin’ building would make wait times more manageable, as it would increase the current capacity.

These photos were taken during the Walt Disney World Marathon two weeks ago. In the photos, you can see that the old modular trailers have been removed and the ground has been cleared. There also appears to be some sort of simple foundation work as pipes can be seen coming out of the ground.
