It’s been just over a year since the debut of the new fireworks launch point at Disney’s Hollywood Studios with the introduction of Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular. We recently had the chance to fly over Walt Disney World property and had a look at the launch point from a few hundred feet above the ground. The launch point is across the main thoroughfare on property, World Drive.
While the current show is off-center from a point of view in front of the Chinese Theater, it appears that views from both Toy Story Land and Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will not only be closer, but more direct as well.
Disney has also recently reduced the amount of large firework shells used in the show, as seen in our video below.
