PHOTOS: Minnie Vans “Spotted” on Disney Property

It appears that Disney’s uber-like service, Minnie Vans, is now operational at Walt Disney World. The service is available at Disney’s Boardwalk Resort and Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resort. The cost is $20 per ride and pricing is subject to change.

UPDATE: Here are some more details on the service.

It officially launches July 26th and is available to Disney’s Boardwalk Resort and Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resort guests only at first. Disney plans on expanding the service at a later date. Cars will be available from 6:30am to 12:30am, daily. The cars will accommodate up to 6 guests and have 2 car seats, if needed. Normal wheelchairs are able to be accommodated, but not ECVs or motorized wheelchairs. Guests staying at the above resorts will be notified about the service prior to their stay and will be able to use a mobile app to hail a Minnie Van. It’s unclear if this will be a My Disney Experience functionality or separate app.

Here’s a look at the adorable vehicle that we “spotted” at the Speedway gas station near Magic Kingdom.

The vehicles used are indeed Chevy Traverses. We first saw the vehicles under wraps at Test Track a few days ago.

  1. Very cute, but when Uber and Lyft are charging like 6-10 bucks to get anywhere around property, who’s going to want to pay 20 for the cuteness? Not me.
